Llandaff Cathedral
Bespoke intruder detection for a historic cathedral and its valuable artworks.
Security designed around a historic building
LA Alarms installed a bespoke intruder alarm at Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff. The design considered the historic structure, sensitive internal spaces and valuable artworks, including the Rossetti triptych.
Sensors and control equipment were positioned with care for the architecture. The project included monitoring arrangements, commissioning and training for cathedral staff, with work planned to limit disruption to worship and visitors.
